This unidentified child was claimed in ownership by white enslaver and hotelkeeper Lucy Terrell. She was aged "ten or eleven" when an account of her violent assault by University of Virginia student N. B. Noland was recorded in the Faculty Minutes, May 2 and 3, 1856.
